Vintage Millefiori Murano Glass Necklace: Ercole Moretti, Restrung, 32"

A delightful early millefiori glass bead necklace. The larger beads at the centre have a matte surface with some of the smaller beads having a slight sheen to the surface. The beads are graduated and full of lovely vibrant canes. The beads are separated by small green spacer beads - the knotting is old, but is still in very good condition and is still pretty tightly still in place-which again is rare for a necklace from the 1920’a. The necklace closes with a gold metal hinged clip.

This measures just at about 32” in length. The largest centre bead measures just at 1 inch length, and 2/3” in height. This piece has a HUGE chubby focal bead. Please examine each picture and video so you can see what a gorgeous piece this one is.

When this piece came into my possession, it was strung on old fashioned string and was really needing some TLC. I am an avid Moretti collector and these beads are in excellent condition. I lovingly cleaned and restrung this piece on a stainless steel string that’s incased in a flexible plastic. This necklace looks to be in excellent condition. You would never know it’s about 100 years old! The pictures tell the story.
